Many people have come forward with paleo diet reviews as usual with opposing views. We have those who think it is the best thing ever (they are actually living it), and we have the other faction (those who decry without trying). I know which faction I would rather believe.

paleo diet reviewsThe problem with any news or television companies¬† reviewing anything is they only like the things that will get them the most profit. Truth is not a factor if you are not going to be spending millions on advertising campaigns and lining the bosses pockets. And of course if the government decry it, you will probably be well off by following it. Lets face it governments normally don’t do anything right or at least they don’t get it right when they do. They certainly are not there for the good of your health no matter what they say. Again the paleo diet reviews are not going to be too good as far as officialdom is concerned as there is nothing in it for them.

For this reason it is not worth reading or listening to some of the popular views. With all diets there is a certain amount of will power involved. Getting used to new tastes and new foods is part of the joy and fun of filling your dietary needs.

All diets work to a degree. It is whether you want to follow that way for the rest of your life that really counts. Some will tell you that there is no proof that those in paleolithic times were eating the foods that are expounded by the diet. I say there is no proof that they weren’t and as these creatures and plants were available in those times it is a safe bet that they were eating them.

Another thing I see in the paleo diet reviews is that they were unlikely to live much beyond 30 years in paleolithic times. Again a lot of assumption and very little proof. Also the argument of eating foods our bodies were designed to absorb is regularly quoted. There certainly weren’t all the grains and carbohydrates around so I think those foods are certainly not the best we can get.

No matter what diet you are on there will be those who agree with it and those who will attempt to decry it. I say listen to those who have tried and lived by the diet for a reasonable length of time and listen to their views. You will also need to listen to the views of those who have tried it and not been able to stay with it, but of course you must remember that all diets require will power.
